Inaugural PFRPA Champions Luncheon

Jul 09, 2024

On June 12, the Pro Football Retired Players Association (PFRPA) hosted the inaugural PFRPA Champions Luncheon at the historic Hotel Northland in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The event was held in the Crystal Ballroom, where Vince Lombardi was formally introduced as the Coach and General Manager of the Green Bay Packers in 1959. It brought together retired NFL players, families, friends, community and the media to honor three individuals who have significantly impacted both the retired NFL player community and their broader communities.
The PFRPA Champions Luncheon was more than just an awards ceremony; it was a heartfelt celebration of community, legacy and service. As the attendees shared stories, laughter and applause, the event underscored the importance of honoring those who give back and inspire others. All proceeds from the event went to the Greater Good Fund, PFRPA's 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, which offers benefits, programs and initiatives for retired NFL players.
